Weddings and private events in Dublin

The Mont Clare Hotel, thanks to its perfect location and its various event spaces, is one of the best meetings and events venues in Dublin. The hotel is close to transport links from every part of the country. The closest train station to arrive by Dart, Commuter or Irish Rail is only a two-minutes’ walk from the hotel and the car park for travellers by car is located around the corner from the hotel. A coach stop is only a short stroll away from the hotel and our reception staff is happy to assist you with directions. The local airport connection bus, Airlink, stops beside the hotel so guests flying in to the city have a direct link to Dublin Airport. The Mont Clare Hotel Dublin has six meeting and conference rooms which can cater for meetings and conferences from 8 to 150 delegates. The variety of break-out rooms means meeting planners have flexible space in Dublin city centre. If you would like to wrap up your meeting with a less formal event, The Grosvenor Suite offers a function space that can be themed to suit your needs. For larger events the Mont Clare Hotel offers the Yeats suite or will partner with our sister hotels the Davenport and the Alexander Hotel, all within 2 minutes’ walk from each other on the northwest corner of Merrion square. The Aston Suite at the Alexander hotel can accommodate up to 400 delegates and the three hotels will partner together to provide breakouts or dining space for large conferences in the centre of Dublin.

The Mont Clare Hotel offers you a fantastic location to celebrate your special day ensuring that historical Dublin puts its stamp on your wedding day. The Mont Clare Hotel offers two different rooms for you to choose from, ensuring that you get the best fit for your party.

  • Goldsmiths hall offers an intimate Dublin wedding venue overlooking Merrion square for up to 80 guests and is available for private hire.
  • The Yeats room offers a more traditional wedding venue and can cater for up to 120 guests. Wood paneling and large windows onto Merrion Street ensure you are entertained by the ongoing busy life of the city of Dublin.

If you’re selecting a romantic civil ceremony, the Davenport Hotel and the Alexander Hotel, positioned across the road, offer you the opportunity to have an easy transition from ceremony to reception during your big day. If you plan on getting married locally, please note that we are only five minutes from Dublin’s Registry Office, Unitarian Church and Newmans University Church on Stephens Green.
