Punchestown Racecourse
Punchestown Racecourse located in County Kildare has been the home of Irish National Hunt Racing for more than 150 years and is very different to any other racecourse for the simple fact that it is the only racecourse in Ireland to continue to host cross country racing, the very founder of modern erasteeplechasing. Punchestown’s first race meeting was held in 1824. The race course enjoyed an extensive refurbishment in 2002. http://www.punchestown.com
