National Botanic Gardens
Well worth a visit, the National Botanic Gardens trace back to 1795. The Gardens were originally a private collection for members of the Royal Dublin Society, but were opened to the general public in 1805. The gardens are home to a magnificent Richard Turner conservatory. Located in Glasnevin about 3.5km north from the centre of Dublin, off Botanic Road.
