Ha'penny Bridge

This pedestrian bridge built in 1816 over the River Liffey in Dublin is understandable called the Liffey Bridge but is commonly known as the Ha'penny Bridge after the original toll of one halfpenny which was dropped in 1919. Its distinctive curve, three lamps and iron-work over the walkway make it a familiar symbol of Dublin.
