Dublin Horse Racing
Ireland is well known for the best quality high breed horses it produces and also for training of race horses. There are 5 race courses in or close to Dublin and Dubliners love to spend their afternoons at the races. These race courses also have restaurants and bars for the spectators to enjoy food while watching horse riders, racing through the spectacular race-courses.
"Going to the races" is not an elite activity in Ireland. The sport is enjoyed by the young and old. People especially like to dress up for the important race meetings which play a big part in Dublin's annual social calendar.
